The 1K: A Foundation for Enrollment Management

The 1K is organized under its Four Pillars and places emphasis on the 1,000+ decisions that all enrollment management efforts face within a 52-week operational framework. It provides Agile Enrollment Solutions and its clients a powerful tool to conduct a comprehensive audit. This initial assessment allows AES to highlight areas in need of attention and evolution. Recognizing that every school has areas of strength, The 1K additionally allows for a memorialization of the most positively impactful initiatives to secure long-term continued success.

With more than two dozen operational modules, The 1K provides a templated project management framework to allow for a strategic approach to the administration, timelining and assigning of the hundreds of tasks critical to successful operations. And while we believe the ideal time to consider AES consultancy is during periods of high functioning enrollment management operations, we recognize and have experienced that AES can be particularly impactful as schools navigate unexpected moments of transition.

Consultancy Process

While a majority of consultancy work is efficiently virtual, on-site visit(s) are often helpful to establish a strong working relationship with the enrollment management team and ensure proper direction.

Phase I - Consideration

The Phase I Consideration process begins with an initial meeting, continues with follow-up communications and concludes with a decision of whether to move forward into a formal Phase II and/or Phase III support agreement.

Phase II - Discovery

Utilizing The 1K framework, the Phase II Discovery process identifies specific initiatives which can make the most profound, long-term impact on successful operations. A resulting ‘blueprint’ allows for a clear consideration of possible Phase III Implementation support.

Phase III - Implementation

A Hybrid or Full Consultancy allows AES to build on initial guidance and recommendations from Phase II. Full Enrollment Management Team and/or Executive Enrollment Management Team meeting assistance, check-ins, course corrections and heightened attention to specific initiatives are all among the specific consultancy supports which can be provided.

Under a Hybrid Consultancy, school teams will dedicate a larger portion of time to the Implementation process while receiving periodic consultant guidance. Under a Full Consultancy, enrollment management teams can remain more squarely focused on day to day operations while the AES consultant focuses on solidifying long-term sustainability.
